Prior to the closing bell, representatives from NASDAQ OMX and representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the relationship between the two markets. Under the agreement, NASDAQ OMX and the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange will explore areas of collaboration with the intent to support development of the Vietnamese securities market.
Such areas of collaboration may include advisory services for technology infrastructure, financial products cooperation and joint marketing efforts, with the common objective of strengthening the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.
