About FORTUNE 500 Forum:

In this election year, it is clear that American corporations are already dealing with a climate of change. As business adjusts to new leadership in Washington and an uncertain economic environment, there's no better time and place for an in-depth discussion on the future of business than at the FORTUNE 500 Forum, December 1-3, in Washington D.C.

With a new administration taking office in January, there is a new era in Washington and a new era for America's leading companies. The Forum will convene business leaders together with policy experts, key transition figures from President-elect Obama's team, Washington insiders, and change agents to explore and exchange perspectives on the climate for business in 2009 and beyond.

Secretary Paulson spoke at the FORTUNE 500 Forum yesterday followed by a reception at the State Department with Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Other notables attending the forum include: FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair, Chairman and CEO of American Express Company Kenneth Chenault, Chairman and CEO of Chrysler LLC Robert Nardelli and Chairman, CEO and President of AT&T Inc. Randall Stephenson.

This invitation-only event is limited in size and will be comprised of a mix of plenary sessions, panel discussions and concurrent discussions.
